    I worked at Boston Store full-time

    Pros

    Benefits are great! The work is consistent. Its fun catching thieves. LP is well-respected in the store. LP team is completely independent from the rest of the other employees, it has its own manager.

    Cons

    LP team is small so schedules are not flexible. There is a fine line between the managers and LP team, and the employees confuse you for being management when you're not. There are a ton of rules for making a good stop and it can get frustrating when you're dealing with a known thief.

    Advice to Management

    Put a window in the LP offices so they can get some fresh air or light in there.

    Staff is friendly for the most part, management shows their appreciation often.

    Cons

    A lot of frustrated customers due to not being able to use / understand the coupons. Work is repetitive. Low pay.

    Pros

    Perks! Free product, nice people fun atmosphere ! Room for advancement. Great product! Fun to sell what you believe in! Highly recommended for a retail job. Arden rocks!

    Cons

    Nights and weekends. If you don't want to work these shifts, this won't work for you! Must be highly motivated, A personality to do this job effectively.

    If you are a good worker, they will work you until you break to make up for the other bodies they hire to fill out the floor.

      -great employee discount -offered insurance to full and part time employees

      Cons

      -corporate workers are very disconnected with the stores and throw them under the bus with the higher ups -budgeted hours don't support the workload of the stores, places a lot of stress the workers -run too many $50 off $100 sales too close together, this generates no profit to be able to support the store with more hours in the schedules -the store won't back it's own policies, exceptions are always made for customers...

      Advice to Management

      -follow it's own policies and procedures -admit that you need to invest in your people; provide better training and invest more hours into floor coverage -don't be afraid to let go of some customers who are nothing more that repeat returners and who want discounts on merchandise because an imagined slight -embrace your company culture and values, don't just give lip service
