    Pros

    Interdisciplinary research. Several resources for massive computing, including the SCC service.

    Cons

    The distance between the Charles River and Med campuses dos not allow straight forward interaction between the life sciences and engineering students. Nevertheless, the reliable BU Shuttle service allows commute between both campuses.

    This was an on campus job, hiring process was very fast. I was lucky to find really supportive lab members and PI.

    Great work life balance, you will never be obligated to answer an email after hours and your personal life is treated with respect by management. That is a truly rare quality in a company these days and it is a huge pro of working at BU. Additionally, there are very structured ways of getting work done which I liked.
