I worked at Bottom Dollar Food (Less than a year)

    Pros

The store's were busy, clean, low-priced with fresh produce and baked goods daily. Management were friendly, understanding, and treated all employees with respect. Great team to be a part of.

    Cons

The store and all stores in NJ opened, consumer's loved the stores, and then they sold company to Aldi three years later. Many people lost their incomes. Sad.

    Pros

    I met some nice co-workers.

    Cons

Management has little interest in issues, schedules your shift so you can't get a lunch, makes you buy your uniform, work in your department alone and expected to do work of 2-3 people, no employee discount.

I worked at Bottom Dollar Food part-time

    Pros

-Customers were really nice, and funny. Best part of the work day

    Cons

-Most managers were pretentious jerks, and never actually worked
-Pay was a joke, and the hours were barely there (10hrs a week) but they expected you to be available for 30.
    -Non manager input meant nothing

    Advice to Management

Next time, you open up a business like this-try hiring managers that treat their employees like human beings.

the company closed down at the beginning of 2015, sadly corporate greed affected a lot of people's lives
