    Pros

Team environment; focus on individual growth; responsive leadership; focus on results; I really like the people I work with. The projects are challenging and interesting. I enjoy the mix of disciplines.

    Cons

Deadlines and time sensitivity of projects is challenging, but that's a big client driver.

    Pros

Pay is alright. Vacation time is good and flexible.

    Cons

You have to fight for a raise, even a cost of living raise. Bonuses are a joke, get it in writing or added to your salary. Long hours at times, but that's the industry. PMs could be held to a higher standard.

I worked at Bowman Consulting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

the clients were better to work with than the staff

    Cons

no communication from corporate about upcoming layoffs, and they layoff quick and in large amounts. they did a sweep of folks, also closing one office on Christmas eve. they lose clients left and right b/c they lie to them about approvals and deadlines. when you're own supervisor says put your resume out b/c I'm leaving DO IT. when you see groups of folks quitting within a few months, FOLLOW THEM. some remaining managers are closed minded and will never change...no raises/bonuses despite the promises either. when you ask corporate what's going on in the company, they sugarcoat everything, even to your supervisor. underpaid by 30K, and I'm in engineering.

    Advice to Management

do right by your employees, don't like to them or your clients. don't hire people when you know there's not enough work to sustain a career there.

    Pros

Little micromanagement, some of the benefits. some of my co-workers

    Cons

401k, no growth opportunities, poor communication from management, no bonuses paid even though promised, financially struggling, numerous layoffs over the past year, more worried about acquisitions than current employees, lack of project diversity, no work/life balance, look to replace employees behind their backs, favoritism, employees looked at as parts of a machine and laid off at first sign of economic trouble, no loyalty to employees

    Advice to Management

Revamp entire management and executive team or sell the company while you can.
