Pros
I enjoyed being able to work with the adolescents and make a difference in their lives. I try to keep in contact with some to keep guiding them. They are the only pro.
Cons
The administration was very unorganized. While I was there we didn't get paid on time 4 times and they took aways direct deposit while being audited. We were also placed at a school, so had to abide by the rules of 3 different parties.

Pros
You have the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a kid who may not have a good role model. You develop amazing relationships with the kids as well as with the staff. They really work with your schedule if you’re a student (college), It’s soooo much fun. You’re never bored.
Cons
Sometimes it can be stressful when the kids decide not to listen to you. It’s a such fast paced environment- you’re always on the go. You have to make lesson plans.
