I worked at Bracco full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Decent benefits, and time off.

    Cons

This was the number one worst place I have ever worked in my entire professional career. Abusive upper management who are only looking out for thier best interests and screw the hard working employees beneath them, constant turnover due to an unprofessional and hostile work environment and upper management habitually taking credit for projects where little to no contribution was put in by them. All in all, a totally thankless job.

    Advice to Management

Start recognizing your employees hard work instead of taking credit for it. Pay them what they are worth instead of making your own wallet thicker. Fight for what is right and be a role model rather than a bully. Remember employees don't leave thier company, most of the time they leave thier boss....

    Pros

    Favorable compensation program and benefits.

    Cons

Irresponsible, inappropriate, and dysfunctional company culture. Management does not do anything to prevent workplace discrimination, harassment and bullying. Limited career growth opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Stop allowing long-time members of upper management to abuse employees.

I worked at Bracco full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

You run your own territory. They give you the tools and support and you make it happen. Great benefits and pension.

    Cons

Changing business focus and increase price erosion with little relief on bonus structure. Device side is limited based on GPO affiliation for each hospital.

    Advice to Management

Need an account management team that works with new representatives and help with penetration in target key accounts.

    I worked at Bracco full-time

    Pros

Good work/life balance, plenty of vacation, colleagues are great to work with. New building is easily accessible and nice.

    Cons

Company is still extremely siloed. The compensation is too low for the positions, and management shakeups have placed unqualified individuals in charge. Bombast and unverified claims rule the day here. Experienced individuals are marginalized in favor of loud talkers

    Advice to Management

Put the correct people in charge. Pay your workers what they are worth, and the attrition may stop. Stop promoting unqualified "favorites".

I worked at Bracco full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I had the opportunity to be completely immersed in a new therapeutic area, building strong relationships with some of the biggest KOLs in the industry.

    Cons

The management team in place was solely focused on their careers and office politics rather than what was best for the brands or for the company.

    Advice to Management

Get some fresh thinking in there, and then actually listen to them and nature them. Without a significant shift in thinking, culture, process, etc. this company will not still be thriving in a couple of years.

I worked at Bracco full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits with 401K and retirement. Friendly employees. beautiful facility. Competitive salary. Feels like a family owned company.

    Cons

Director in my area was abusive, harassing, micromanager with poor management experience. He/She was promoted from the field due to exceptional sales numbers but clearly did not have management expertise. Hence, constant turnover.

    Advice to Management

Weed out the managers putting the company at risk for legal filings. Provide a vehicle for employees to evaluate management or confidentially speak to HR.
