Pros
Small company so lots of room to grow, progress, be involved in lots of different areas, and if you have ideas they'll be heard.
Cons
Not willing to invest in their employees; leads to high turnover
3 - 3.0Oct 6, 2012News & Content WriterCurrent Employee, less than 1 yearChicago, IL
Pros
tons of experience writing for a broad range of topics opportunity to be a part of a fast growing and evolving company lots of opportunity for advancement the interview process was well-done typically a professional atmosphere, although quiet impressive ideas for the future of the company tremendous growth of the company young and capable staff - tons of driven individuals
Cons
-a great amount of stress -they put a lot of emphasis on quantity and not as much emphasis on quality -monthly writing volumes are not adjusted based on working days so you are expected to do the same amount of work (if not more) as you would do in months with 19 working days as you would in months with 23 working days -the basics of the job makes the working environment unusual - most people sit silently typing to meet their minimums, 96 percent of communication is done through email and chat even if the person is sitting right next to you -they have unrealistic expectations as far as work volume and the pay doesn't match up -training program could be better- still trying to figure all that out as they grow very quickly -difficult to take a sick day or vacation days based on expectations and work environment
