I have been working at BrandWizard Technologies as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

About average benefit, decent PTO day, Christmas - New Year office close

    Cons

Meeting the revenue target is only thing that management cares about, no reward on hard working. pretending everything is okay when 1/3 of the team left the company in two weeks.

    Advice to Management

Sale the company or close the business

    Pros

    Generous PTO/Holiday Schedule
    Great Location
    Smart, hardworking colleagues and comradery
    Casual, fun environment

    Cons

A company that could have had so much potential, but has not taken the right steps to grow. Fully profit-margin and utilization focused, with no emphasis on investment, growth or product development. Incredibly poor operational support, internal in-fighting with network. There are some really good people across the board here, who are not given opportunity and pushed over the edge to compensate for poor operational structure.

    Advice to Management

Realize that great benefits and positive change always come with risk and change. In a company this size, be more hands on with mid and lower level employees from a support and career perspective. Stop pretending everything's "working" when half of the staff has left in the last year.

    Pros

    Good holidays/PTO.
    Great work/life balance (9-6 job)
    Decent benefits.
    Fun, casual work environment.
    Great office location.

    Cons

Lots of legacy systems to support.
    Salaries are below market.
Too much focus on bill-ability/utilization over proper product development.
Company prefers hiring freelance over full time people (which doesn't lead to quality product.)

    Advice to Management

Management needs to re-align profitability expectations and focus their time and resources on development of a new product offering. You will never get ahead if you don't take the time to update your products. Additionally, talking to your employees about profits and whether the numbers are being met is not the right way to do things. Management should not burden their mid and low level employees with unnecessary knowledge about the company's budgets and financial outlook.

    Pros

You get to work with large customers that are helpful to a resume.

    Cons

The company is unorganized and has not grown in years. They have had the same number of staff for the last 10 years although have added new clients and work. They dont care that their employees work extremely long hours and do not hire additional help to support the employees. I would not recommend working here. The management has completely turned over in the last year due to no growth or change management. I do not recommend working here

    Advice to Management

Hire sales people and grow the business. This company should have had 5-10 sales team by now. Respect your employees and dont work them to death.
