    Pros

    Great training, mileage reimbursement, free meals, cool projects, get promoted fast if you want

    Cons

    Pay and raises are not the best. They are minimal. Other companies start with more per year.

    I worked at Brasfield & Gorrie part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Pay was great as an intern, managers helped teach every way they can, given a lot of freedom and responsibilities.

    Cons

    Made me move 4 hours for the project I was assigned to, didn't offer me a job after my internship was completed.

    Open a Houston office

    Pros

    Good hard working people. Friendly staff and nice office and facility. Offers good pay and benefits.

    Cons

    Management is pretty poor in the Orlando office. People should not be managers that are. People that are managers should not be managing the people they are. Major disconnect between Birmingham and Orlando in terms of

    Advice to Management

    The culture needs a rework. Develop a 1,3,5 year growth plan and follow through on it. Stop making decisions and going back on them first sign of trouble. Hire appropriate people into appropriate positions.

    Pros

    Great people, professional peers, awesome bosses (Kennith Brown), organized administration, good pay and benefits. The company in many ways shows that they value their employees.

    Cons

    Traveling and living out of town. Sometimes you work with people that take advantage of their superior job title. A lot of the PM's you work with are supercilious and smug.

    Advice to Management

    Field: Don't change a thing

    Office: Show more respect and gratitude to guys in the field

    Pros

    Long hours and lots of overtime

    Cons

    Field employees don't get paid time off, higher insurance cost, lower pay, wrong employees get promoted, foreman and superintendents think they are "GODS", very to little no training on jobs above and beyond your pay grade, 50-60 hour weeks, very little home time.

    Advice to Management

    Paid vacations for field employees, lower insurance costs and show respect for the people who build your jobs.
