I worked at Brasseler USA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Excellent benefits, clean environment

    Cons

Handful of select co workers who will try to make your working experience a nightmare, below entry level pay, no pay raises are guaranteed unless their specific made-as-you guidelines are maintained 100%. No mistakes, unless you are related to an upper management co worker.

    Advice to Management

Give equal opportunity to everyone, make a job board,

    Pros

Great place to work. Flexible work schedule and benefits are very good.

    Cons

IT department was somewhat obnoxious but I think you get that anywhere.

    Pros

Great products, great name in the Dental industry, loved the people at the home office, fantastic training program and continued education. Great benefits and income.

    Cons

A lot of travel. On the road in my district 75% of the time. It was fun for the first three years but wears on you after awhile.

    Advice to Management

Work out a way that your reps that cover a lot of territory can have more time to cover their territory than reps that cover just one large city.

I have been working at Brasseler USA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The CEO is great, and that workers are pleasant. It is easy to get time off for the dentist and such.

    Cons

The is not much room for growth and the pay is not good. The higher ups talk about caring for their employees but they have a pitiful 401k match, low pay, and the tuition assistance that is talked about upon hiring is almost impossible to get approval for and amounts to a maximum of less than typical tuition per semester.

    Advice to Management

Let go of old ways and allow for improvement.

I have been working at Brasseler USA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Brasseler USA is a great company with one of the strongest brands in the dental industry. They pay higher than average wages for the State and region they are located in. Sales staff are paid on based on sales / gross profit and have uncapped earning potential. Brasseler USA offers a full benefits package, including insurance, vision, dental, etc. for full-time employees. The company is very innovative, flexible and family friendly. Brasseler has been through a reorganization of its top management and has good leaders in place. Brasseler USA has one of the best training programs in the industry and strong relationships with leading clinicians in the dental industry. Definitely in a growth mode, in lieu of the downturn in the economy, we are expanding and growing daily.

    Cons

I haven't really found any downsides.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the communications to the employees, it's key.

Name holds good prestige with Doctors.

    Cons

Never know whats going on with senior management. You are always the last to know.

I have been working at Brasseler USA (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Makes arguably the best products in dentistry.

    Cons

Territories are very large so you will easily put 30-50k miles/year on your car. Constant turnover in management and ever changing company focus/initiatives are their biggest problem.

    Advice to Management

Unless you are trying to become a distributor, take a long look at going back to what you are known for (burs) and focus on innovation there.

    Pros

No pro's here. Stay clear !!!

    Cons

Biggest issues was the lack of ethics. Lied about everything starting with pay. Glad to be done. In 25 years worse place I have ever worked.

    Advice to Management

    Get a life !

    Pros

Well perceived product from doctors. Name recognition.

    Cons

If you are an ambitious sales rep, there is a clear ceiling financially in regards to what you can make. I grew my territory every year during my 3 year tenure, but it was still limited. If you do have a great year, you will be punished by being forced to compete with what you did the year prior as opposed to being paid on what you actually sell. Good place to start off a career, but not a long term destination job for anyone who wants to make real money.

    Advice to Management

Increase the base salary, or the company will continue to lose talented reps year after year.
