Overall, my experience at Bread Financial was a positive one. For the following reasons I stayed for over 3 years and only left when I was handed an opportunity by a close friend that I would have been a fool to pass up: Management actually cares about their employees and treats everyone like a human being worthy of respect (it sounds like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference). The pay was great and raises more than kept up with the rate of inflation every year. My team was exceptional. I loved working with them and being surrounded by so many competent, intelligent people made me excited to work as part of a team. I experienced few interactions with customers that were anything less than pleasant. Most customers were incredibly polite, and any time I did have to deal with a rude customer I felt empowered to step away from the conversation at any point if they crossed a line.

There were few, if any, cons to working for this company. Like I said I only left because I was handed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and even the managers I didn’t have constant and direct contact with during my time there were happy for me.

Thank you for sharing your incredible experience working with us! We're thrilled you were able to find an amazing next opportunity and wish you all the success! Working on a team with intelligent professionals really does make work feel like an exciting adventure you're sharing together! We do care passionately about our associates' health. Our award-winning, holistic well-being program aims to help you feel balanced, energized, and optimistic about your personal journey!

I recently did a phone interview and it went well. A week later, I get an in person interview with HR. They let me know I will be hearing back from them shortly. On linked in, the position I applied for opened back up, is this a sign that they decided to not hire me? I’ll be reaching out soon. But just got me disappointed.
