What’s the best way to have a lack of compensation and incentive conversation in your department? I went above and beyond for years doing extra work, organizations etc and nothing has been reflected in pay. I thought my 5 year was going to finally show something but it did not. I’ve inquired about pay but it’s gotten nowhere.

    Unstable and reactive

    Pros

Staff are super dedicated, loyal and hard working. Upper management tries to instill team-collaborate culture with a balanced rewards/recognition. Company offers many individualized product offerings for the industry.

    Cons

Too many layers of upper management with focus on ego and status. Too many directors and not enough indians. On surface, culture sounds great but really is just smoke and mirrors. They say they want change but does not embrace new insight or change because the people there don't change.

    Great Place to Work

Jul 2, 2019 - Credit Card Specialist in Albuquerque, NM

    Business Outlook

    Pros

The atmophere and culture is comforting. Upper management keeps us all informed of how we are doing indivdually and as a company in gerneral. We have a open door policy. The compensation is very competitive. My job here at Alliance Data is a fun place to work, I learn here everyday and there is never a dull moment!

    Cons

Alliance Data, like some most major companies are always changing something, it is always for the good of our future, the only thing constant with Alliance Data is change. And sometimes getting a shift that works for you can be challenging at first.

    Pros

Great benefits and some what good pay....the reason most reps stay and the life long friends you make its like a family but supervisors and upper management most times wont talk to you. They cant even be bothered to say hello in the halls.

    Cons

To finish my previous statement supervisors and upper management needs to humble themselves.

    Upper Management Down the Tubes

    Pros

This place gets worse every year.

    Cons

Upper Management does not have the experience needed and it shows every day. Very unprofessional/unorganized for a call center/financial institution. Managers all have a fake smile and will fire you at the drop of the hat if you don't 'fall in line'.

    Pros

Good people below VP level. The true heart of the company is at the Director and Manager level. Kudos to them.

    Cons

Upper management is out of touch with the business. Middle management is stuck between understanding the vision and objectives and communicating those to subordinates.

Culture
During the month of May, our Bread Financial Easton headquarters in Columbus, Ohio is shining a spotlight on Mental Health Awareness Month! Both of our campus buildings will be illuminated in green lighting from dusk to dawn in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. Green is the unofficial color of mental health awareness because it represents balance and harmony, which can help us to deal with mental anxiety and stress. For Mental Health Awareness Month, we're holding webinars to help our associates preserve their well-being by identifying symptoms of stress and anxiety (which aren’t always obvious) and providing tips for dealing with mental stress and anxiety and using emotional intelligence. To help associates manage their work-life balance, we have another webinar to educate associates on the family support benefits available to help them manage responsibilities, including Back-Up Care, Elder Care, Pet Care, and other support enhancements.
