Pros
Work From Home is an option
Cons
Don’t expect growth if you don’t have a god father
We are sorry to hear about your experience. We take growth and development very seriously and know it's important to our Associates, which is why we've created programs like the Apprentice program, stretch and GIG assignments, and why we fill a significant number of our positions with internal Associates. We encourage you to have a discussion with your leader and/or HR Partner about your career ambitions so Bread Financial can help you meet your goals.

Well, we can appreciate you taking the time to write a review and sharing your experience. We hope your love of the work you do and working remotely outweighs some of the challenges you've experienced with team members and leadership. If you were a current associate, we would suggest you share your feedback in one of our ACT Surveys or speak with your HR Business Partner about concerns, but it seems like you've moved on. Best of luck!

Pros
I got my first WFH job with this company and I loved it so much I stayed for almost 5 years. If you’ve never worked from home before I highly recommend it. It’s truly a game changer, especially if you have a family or get social anxiety. BF offers a lot of WFH opportunities, which makes it a great company to work for if that’s something you’re prioritizing.
Cons
It can be difficult to find a good work life balance at first if you’re new to working from home. It takes some adjustment and there’s also other differences to consider (you spend a lot more time on the computer obviously) so just keep that in mind.

That's a really great point and we appreciate you sharing that. We'll get that feedback over to our onboarding team as this could be an area for us to help our associates who are new to working remotely. We're glad you enjoyed it so much and that it was a fit for you (as it is for many of us!). Best of luck!

They have amazing benefits and I can work from home.
Cons
I am constantly the bearer of bad news.
Bread Financial Response
We can understand that working in banking is not all wonderful news delivered to customers and it takes real professionals to be able to maintain momentum and keep their head up while serving our customers. We're glad to hear you love working from home and that the benefits are exceeding your expectations! We've made a lot of enhancements rolled out in 2023 and we're glad they're landing with our associates!!

Work from home opportunities and supplies equipment!
Cons
Hiring process took over a month
Bread Financial Response
Working from home is a great perk and having the technology to effectively do this critical for success!! We try to ensure that every new hire gets everything they need to be successful from a technology perspective from their first day. Depending on when you apply, when our next new hire date is, and how long your background check takes for completion can impact how long it takes to get to your first day. We try to be flexible and make it happen as quickly as possible for new associates who are ready to get started, while also giving people who need time to put in and work out their two week notice (we absolutely support the professional courtesy!) time to do so. We're glad to hear you're liking it so far!

Work at home program, Fair pay, nice co workers.
Cons
If you work from home your supervisor is in another state so no real connection is established. The customers are able to rate the call at the end ofbthe call. If you score bad at the end of the month you are written up and if it continues it will become a termination no matter how well you tried to help the customer. It will also affect getting a incentive bonus.
