Pros
As a college student, I was worried about fitting in a full time career with my college studies. The management staff was willing to work with me to allow me the time I needed not only for class but for the tests I had to take. I can't thank them enough for all they have done for me.
Cons
I was tired from going to school and working full time but it was definitely worth it! I learned so much from them about marketing and customer service that it has proven very valuable to my personal live and my future career opportunities. Thank you for everything you taught me.

Pros
Sales experience, you'll be selling DirecTV subscriptions in Costco stores
Cons
From the outset, you are misled. Initially they offer a payment structure of 10/hr + 150 per DirecTV subscription that is sold as commissionable pay. The night before I began working I was informed that there is a minimum commission level that must be met in order to receive any commissions. For example, if your minimum commission level is set at 450, you must sell at least 4 subscriptions to receive any money from commissions (from what I gathered 400+ seemed to be what most employees' commission levels were). In addition, you don't receive a commission unless DirecTV is installed at the residence. Considering that DirecTV cannot be installed in apartments, heavily wooded areas and any residence in which the Line of Sight is blocked (occurs 20% of the time), I'd say that around 40% of your sales are not going to be completed installs. Management acted very unprofessional. Managers went behind employees' backs and bad mouthed them in a very demeaning way. Overall, I'd recommend staying away. All of these red flags occurred within my first day of employment, so I can only imagine what else is being hidden. However if you're interested, make sure to ask a ton of questions before accepting so you know exactly what you're getting into.
