The hours are great. The vacation time is a plus as well. Most members are very nice.
Cons
The general manager is absolutely horrible at communication. Management in general isn't great, but the GM is extremely demanding with high expectations but zero communication on those expectations.

Pros
As a pool server, I enjoyed working outside over the summer. The job keeps you on your toes and moving, so the workdays pass by. I learned basic bartending and was able to manage shifts pretty quickly.
Cons
When working at any country club, you're going to have people who feel that because they're paying a membership fee, they can make whatever demands and comments they want. You've got to be able to brush them off and serve the customer as best you can.
