I worked at Bridgeport Hospital full-time

    Pros

Some people were nice to work with, its lovely to be a part of bringing babies into the world!

    Cons

Older nurses 'eat their young'. Managers, except one or two, were not very nice and trying to get your PTO was very difficult.

    Advice to Management

Let people have some work/life balance and be a little more welcoming and helpful to new staff.

    Pros

Bridgeport Hospital/Ahlbin Center was a great company to work for. They're helpful, salary was good, and they had excellent benefits. The staff was awesome.

Like any busy city hospital, the schedule was very busy and the paperwork just kept growing with no time in the schedule to complete it.

    Advice to Management

Give the therapists time to do the paperwork necessary without seeing patients
