I have been working at Briggs and Morgan full-time

    Pros

Great people, lots of opportunity to get experience early in your career for a large firm.

    Cons

Too many shareholders, loose management style and structure. Lots of opportunities to optimize the business that aren't capitalized on as a result.

    Advice to Management

Figure out who is going to drive the boat and let them drive it.

I worked at Briggs and Morgan full-time for more than 9 years

        Pros

There are some great people working at Briggs. Their compensation review process is very fair and consistent with market values.

        Cons

The firm is undergoing a difficult transition in the administrative areas that has made the working environment in the past year somewhat difficult. That being said, every company undergoes growing pains.

        Advice to Management

        Nothing to offer.

        StarStarStarStarStar
Former Employee - Trial Consultant in Minneapolis, MN

I worked at Briggs and Morgan

          Pros

Wonderful people, challenging work. Thoroughly enjoy all the people there and appreciated all the challenging assignments as well as the supportive environment.

          Cons

Parking is expensive because it is located in the heart of the city and no matter where you park, it's expensive unless you catch the early bird rates.

          Negative Outlook

I worked at Briggs and Morgan full-time for more than 20 years

          Pros

At the time I cannot think of any pros

          Cons

This employer is discriminating against employees because of their age and years they have been employed. Trying to cut costs by reducing staff and putting unrealistic workload on current staff.

          Advice to Management

Your best asset is the experience of older staff. Young people do not have the work ethics of seasoned employees. It is sad that you do not value the loyalty and hard work of your emp, overs.
