I worked at Brigham Young University (BYU) part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work environment was very friendly and welcoming, and in the HPC you get your own office. You can also choose to work from home. You choose your hours and you get a bunch of editing experience.

    Cons

The pay isn't much better than a custodial job, and you get in trouble if you go overtime. The computer in the office also tends to break down.

    Advice to Management

Get someone to look at that computer in the HPC!

I have been working at Brigham Young University (BYU) part-time

    Pros

The university is filled with team members who are easy to work with and really helpful. Everyone that I interacted with was accepting and did great work.

    Cons

If you are not a member of the LDS Church, it can be a little bit of a shock because most of the people working here are members, but after the initial culture shock, it is a great place to work.
