I worked at Brightside Academy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learned a lot in a short amount of time.

    Cons

People really don't know what they're doing. Or, refuse to change their methods of doing things. Really big egos with no true substance to support them.

    Advice to Management

Have an ear to hear, change and equitably distribute salaries. People who "sucks up" get the best salaries.

    Pros

The work is rewarding when you think about who you are doing it for. The kids.
There are some talented people working for the organization.

    Cons

Overall there's a real lack of structure within the organization and a very high turn over that puts a greater strain on already strained resources. Poor Compensation, Poor leadership and management, overall unprofessional work environment, and disproportion workloads.

    Pros

State of the art facility. Commercialized. Generic.
I have nothing more to say

    Cons

They don't pay for brakes. You are there for 9 hours. Their pay doesn't match what they expect from you. Private schools period don't pay well. They also try to put kids in your class that are not in your roster because their teacher was absent. They provide health insurance but it is extremely expensive. $160 every two weeks off your check.
