Team Building activities would be beneficial.

    Pros

Great place to gain experience and have the ability to move into management roles.

    Cons

Starting as a part time employee you need to have an open schedule in order to get shifts.

    Advice to Management

Better communication needed. Too many different answers to questions results in confusion.

I have been working at Brink's Canada full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Decent benefits and pension plan

Most people are fun to work with

    Cons

Horrible place to start a career. Constantly shrinking, terrible management with no applicable skill sets for the job - Which shows by the horrible petty treatment of employee's, and high turn-over rate.

Constantly breaking federal rules and regulations or laws and threatening or intimidating employees who stand up for their rights. If you file a complaint with the ministry, good luck not getting letters and suspensions and being the target of a hostile management... As stated above - petty.

Terrible hours of work. They expect you to work as many hours as they deem fit, even breaking the 13 hour rule.

Employees locked outside and made to sit and wait in the cold for 8 hours because security equipment was broken.

Speaking of security, they push the employees to greater speed and turn a blind eye to security measures as long as you complete the work; if you follow security measures, obviously it takes longer but then you find yourself harassed and in the office every day. Our manager told a driver once to "break the speed limit'

If you find yourself getting hired, don't count on staying. They fire you just as fast as hire you and there are almost no part-time hours even though you are expected to be available for 10 shifts a month which you have to give a month in advance. Just ask anyone there and they will tell you.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring internally and start actually paying the money needed to hire skilled management to run the company. Treat your employee's with respect and
