I worked at Brink's Canada part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Friendly Staff, can essentially make your own schedule as part time, knowledgeable training instructors, would only recommend this job as a stepping stone to get into some type of law enforcement position.

    Cons

No set finish time, horrible wage for putting your life on the line, confusion in management, poor equipment (trucks are constantly breaking down (daily), cutting staff positions, no job security. Can’t see this job being around for years to come.

    Advice to Management

Management was friendly and some were very knowledgeable, seems to be a lot of confusion with head office.

    Negative Outlook

    I worked at Brink's Canada part-time

    Pros

Good hours, decent pay, mostly nice coworkers who can become good friends

    Cons

Toxic work environment Not a lot of opportunity to move up in the company

    Advice to Management

Give proper, formal training to new hires instead of having current employees train them for no extra pay or benefit. Encourage and offer support/assistance to employees who are looking to move up in the company. Team Building activities would be beneficial.

I have been working at Brink's Canada full-time for more than 9 years

      Pros

Decent benefits and pension plan Most people are fun to work with

      Cons

Horrible place to start a career. Constantly shrinking, terrible management with no applicable skill sets for the job - Which shows by the horrible petty treatment of employee's, and high turn-over rate. Constantly breaking federal rules and regulations or laws and threatening or intimidating employees who stand up for their rights. If you file a complaint with the ministry, good luck not getting letters and suspensions...
