      I worked at Brink's Canada

      Pros

Once you put in your time, seniority dictates how good you have it.. ie. job - hrs of work - pay - vacation - and more..

      Cons

Perhaps should be a bit more strict on part-time staff.. Too many sick calls, and no shows and to many lates.. Part time staff is too unreliable..

      Advice to Management

      Enforce the rules ..

I have been working at Brink's Canada part-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

      - Part-time employees sign up for which days they can work.

      Cons

      - Part-time employees don't get much from the union, but still have to pay union dues (which is only a couple dollars less than a full-time employee). - Attendance and punctuality is based on a point system and are allowed a certain number of points per year. Full-time employees have a certain amount of sick days per year, and start accumulating points once they no longer have sick days left. However, a part-time...

I have been working at Brink's Canada part-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

flexible schedule most co-worker are nice

      Cons

you can be booked for a 4 hour shift or a 13 hour shift, but the 13 hour shifts are only given to part-timers because Brink's loves to save money by taking advantage of part-timers. The union approved 13 shift straight pay.. and part-timers pay union dues but receive no benefits for paying them.

      Advice to Management

Care a little bit more about your employees moral then saving a couple bucks by taking advantage of people. but business is business - right?
