I worked at Bristol Myers Squibb full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The teams I worked with are fantastic, most of the members are dedicated, capable, driven and collaborative with the common goals to meet the deadline and deliver high quality products. The mid-management teams are very supportive and open minded as well.

    Cons

There are uncertainties about the company's direction and where the upper management team is leading the company, which caused anxiety at team level. The workload is always very high, and resource is limited, hard to maintain work/life balance.

I have been working at Bristol Myers Squibb full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pipeline is strong. Decision making is not as difficult as with other Big Pharma where I have worked previously.

    Cons

Work/life balance is something that is not always emphasized by senior management. Senior leadership is very much into the details which can at times be an issue.

I worked at Bristol Myers Squibb full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great Benefits, most fellow employees are friendly, helpful, and cooperative .(Hopewell, NJ)

    Cons

Left Hand/Right Hand syndrome or just poor planning wastes millions. Work/life balance is awful if you truly care about your job. Downsizing to a point that you just could not keep up.

I worked at Bristol Myers Squibb for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good reputation for the research behind their products. Great benefit packages. Ability to grow and advance with the company.

    Cons

Middle management is getting more difficult. Being a manager of people had become much more difficult, there is no work life balance in that aspect. The expectations are extremely high.
