I have been working at Bristow Group Inc full-time

    Pros

Good people to work with, fun work, stress ful at times. Always something new going on.

    Cons

If you're not Scottish, no room for advancement. Just because we are born American does not mean we do not have good ideas or are not smart.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people more than you currently do, a lot of your employees have good input and feed back.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

competitive pay, newer equipment, genuine emphasis on safety.

    Cons

senior management not knowledgeable about many aspects of business; thus., takes advice from other people who are also not knowledgeable about the business. There seems to be a plan to get rid of the older employees in any "legal" way possible, which certainly makes sense from a strictly cost cutting point of view, but could prove to be misguided in the long run due to the loss of a tremendous experience base.

    Advice to Management

swallow pride, check ego, and listen to long term professionals working in each aspect of the business.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The pay is above average and you are expected to and appreciated when you fly, plan and work in the safest manner possible.

    Cons

It's a big bureaucracy. Don't expect to be utilized to your fullest capability.

Management and sales teams are very reactionary and have a hard time spotting tends or having foresight to helicopter industry changes. Sales is very lacking in many ways.

Equipment is older in many places.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees. Many of your employees have relationships throughout the industry and know how our competitors are planning to bid and win contracts. Your employees talk to their supervisors but no information is ever relayed.
