I have been working at British Council full-time for more than 5 years

    Cons

Some colleagues get burnt out and overwhelmed from the workload. Compensation is on the low side because it is public sector, and there is little opportunity for most staff to progress past a certain level.

I worked at British Council part-time

    Pros

Great opportunity to meet key stakeholders from leading organizations in foreign relations.

    Cons

More responsibilities should be passed on to project assistants, allowing for professionals development.

    Advice to Management

Providing professional development to interns and project assistants would be more productive and beneficial to all parties.
