    Pros

A great culture and a company that's growing in size and revenues. It's an exciting place to work, with plenty of room to grow, or blaze a new trail for yourself. You're surrounded by very smart (and very nice) people. Senior leadership is well-respected and has earned it.

    Cons

With growth comes growing pains. Some infrastructure teams (IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal) are feeling pressure from the growing pains, made a bit more complicated by some resistance to change. But everyone is motivated by nothing but the best of intentions.

    Advice to Management

Your efforts to meaningfully engage with employees are well appreciated. Keep it going!

I have been working at Broadcom full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Run by engineers, healthy percent of profit directed back to R&D, founders involved day to day operation, wonderful family day, amazing yearly technical conference.
    Engineers feel like hero's.

    Cons

Remote sites treated like second class citizens. Huge concern about future under Avago - all the Pros in this review are in jeopardy.

    Advice to Management

I would never have chosen to work for Avago, why would one expect current Broadcom employees to choose to continue their career here?

    Pros

Some of most challenging work with significant accomplishments. The company is is a great market and has a lot of potential. Upper management is executing well.

    Cons

Somewhat chaotic and inconsistent management down the chain of command. Use of resources is unbalanced, some with more than optimal workload, some less. HR seems disconnected from the employees.

    Advice to Management

Management training and refresher courses would be helpful.
