I have been working at Broadcom full-time

    Pros

Flexible work schedule. Engineers are knowledgeable for the most part.

    Cons

All workers here are from foreign country. Prefer to hire H1B visas because they're cheaper workers who can be bosses into working very long hours.

Reverse sexism in which women are paid more and preferred for employment.

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to people. America First.

    I worked at Broadcom full-time

    Pros

Stock is going high for the past two years.

    Cons

No work-life balance, management is relentless toward employees, constant layoffs even though stock is going to the sky. No job security. Work environment is very stressful, and everyone is competing for survival. I believe this is the culture the management wants. Compensation is good, if you are not laid off to get the bonuses. However, compensation is not proportional to hard work - one has to give up all evenings, nights, and weekends.

I worked at Broadcom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Broadcom Limited really is a new company. It bears little resemblance to the old Broadcom Corp. Pro if you hated the old Broadcom?
Broadcom Ltd is better you're in engineering and enjoy "fighting for your job" (words from the CEO) every few months. Terrible if you're not an engineer (e.g. G&A) because you're doing 4x the work with probably a pay cut. Sadly, despite all the fighting and bodies being thrown under the bus, it's not like you have the potential financial upside anywhere like working at other companies.

    Cons

Every 6 MONTHS or so, there's probably a new acquisition. It doesn't matter that you're the acquiring company, your job may be cut at that time because that's when you're fighting for your job again. As a result, coworkers may become aggressive, territorial and will not hesitate to throw you under the bus to save their own hide. Keep this in mind when you're reading reviews pre-2016. Better yet, you should really search for Avago and read about that company instead.

    Advice to Management

No advice because it wouldn't matter anyway. Hock as a formula that had worked very well for shareholders. But if you're on glassdoor reading this, you're probably not major shareholder but looking for employment.
