    Pros

Management is easy to talk to, pretty relaxed and comfortable environment. Really good health benefit and on-site medical office. Very focused on client relationships. Health and wellness of employees is valued. Relaxed dress code is a perk for those that prefer to dress down often. If you enjoy being challenged and the opportunity to stretch yourself thin over many aspects of a service request/ upgrade/ change, this is a good place to look. There is room for improvement and the company is expanding, so more opportunities are arising.

    Cons

Not enough notice given when weekend work is required. Not enough resource on some teams which makes the workload and expectations extremely overwhelming. With so few people on a team, requesting off for vacation, scheduling doctors' appointments or state-required duties is essentially discouraged, in my opinion. Training and transition for new employees is unsatisfactory; getting equipment and role-specific access is driven by yourself even if you don't know who/what team is responsible for it. Location is lackluster. Does not make enough effort to accommodate service members' training days; the process of requesting time off is either filing for a leave of absence or using a personal/floating holiday which is inappropriate for the request and does not apply.

    Advice to Management

Consider hiring more resources for overwhelmed/understaffed teams so that if a key member leaves, the remaining folks do not become bombarded with heavy demands. Develop a reserve/national guard policy that allows for military members to take their required annual training without such a lengthy process as a leave of absence.

I worked at Broadridge (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The benefits are pretty good, and the pay is decent for an entry level position.
    Decent WFH policy.
You can do the bare minimum and achieve great work-life balance, or you can work long hours and people will notice--it's really up to you.
They used to offer tuition reimbursement, and still might. Take advantage of it.
People stay here for a long time, so they seem to be doing something right.
Cafeteria at the time was subsidized, so was very cheap. That may have changed.

    Cons

Management is mediocre and there is little opportunity to advance.
There are a lot of office politics, and the most talented people aren't usually the ones who are rewarded.
    JSQ location is not great.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in the careers of the younger people just starting here--the old timers are going to retire and you're going to be left with a lot of unsatisfied millenials who aren't in love with their jobs.

    Pros

    Competitive salary, decent work-life balance

    Cons

Job security is pretty much non-existent now. The push to offshore more and more is ramping up like never before. No matter what your position, at least in the JC office, eventually your job will ho to Hyderabad. Because if this, promotions are also few and far between. Why promo someone you plan on terming in 18 months?

    Pros

Decent pay and good benefits. Can work from at home at times. Many smart people that are willing to help. These would be the old timers.

    Cons

Long hours and will have to work on many weekends with no overtime. They work you to the bone. They use to give compensation days for the long hours and weekend days, but they no long do that.
