I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Stable company that offers a decent salary while being based in central Long Island. Not having to commute to NYC is major plus. Very good 401k plan.

    Cons

No profit sharing or stock option plan. Not a place for dynamic growth. Raises and bonuses are locked into a corporate structure.

    Advice to Management

Offer profit sharing/stock options. Increase parking space available to associates.

    Pros

It appears as there may be growth opportunities in this buy out, as we are the leaders in our business and do the best job in the industry.

    Cons

A bit nervous due to the fear of unknown, as we are new to the Broadridge culture. Our dominance is compromised.

    Advice to Management

Please understand that we are new to you and vise versa. Our performance records speakers volumes. We need career growth!!!!!!!

I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people here tend to be nice. As an engineer, I have been able to work with modern technologies and agile methodologies.

    Cons

Not much communication from management. Lots of reorgs up above so we never even know who we are reporting to much of the time. Sometimes people are there one day and gone the next.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better and let us know what is going on. We can handle it. The only communication we get is that they have created a new VP or CTO of some global group at corporate.

I worked at Broadridge (Less than a year)

    Pros

Broadridge set up a bunch of great programs for their interns. One class that I found really useful was the resume building class. Broadridge also required the interns to present to their managers at the end of the internship on something they learned about/helped the company with. This was great experience for presenting. There were also a number of opportunities to network with fellow coworkers.

    Cons

There aren't too many cons I can think of. One con was that it took a few weeks for everything to get set and organized. Another con was that there wasn't designated cubes for the interns, so it was hard for everyone to work in limited space. Lastly, some interns had a lot more work than others and vise versa.

    Pros

Strong M&A culture in the ICS division.

    Cons

Not much organic growth and most of the acquisitions coming in Investor communications. Not much of a culture. Lots of 9-5ers.
