    Cons

Because of growth, most teams are short-staffed. Very intense work loads.

I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company is a decent first job with flexible hours (at least my team).

    Cons

The focus of the company is not towards developers. Emphasis in providing developers with training and education is not the focal point of the company. As with the case with many big companies, the environment is very political and there are too many managers in the company. Developers often get blame for many problems and seldom gets the attention for large successful projects. The teams are too big since part of each team have outsourced teammates from india. Coders in India has a high rate of turnover and in general pollute the code base just to get projects through. Does not follow SOLID principles when delivering code, emphasis is on code delivery and not proper coding design and development.

    Advice to Management

Focus on hiring better developers, don't outsource as much to india to save money. Focus on spending money on developing the programmers already there and have smaller teams.

I have been working at Broadridge (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Not really any pros to mention. I guess there are a few nice people who work there but that is about it. Not a good place. It is miserable with terrible management.

    Cons

The company is on a path to disaster as innovative tech companies will take them out. The worst management ever seen. Not strategic in any way. It's like a finance organization from the 1940"s. Senior management is a joke. People here would not remotely survive in the real world. People
Get promoted because of who they know not based upon your talent. Worst place I've ever been. Leaving soon.

    Advice to Management

Get a new senior finance team. The place is a mess and no one knows what they are doing. Wake up and realize that the team is not strategic and the place is a joke. Would give them a 0 if I could.
