I have been working at Broadridge full-time

    Pros

This place doesn't have any pros, unless you have a boss who has a life outside of paper, but good luck with that.

    Cons

This place is filled with incompetent people whose lives revolve around paper-pushing. You will never leave early, and be frowned upon if you don't stay late. Sexism and perverts run rampant here, including senior level executives (hitting on and trying to take advantage of new young girls).

    Advice to Management

Do your jobs and fire unethical idiots.

    Pros

Collaborative management focused on products and service prior to the acquisition, when Andover was known as NewRIver. Core product has value in the overall Broadridge umbrella.

    Cons

Facility has slowly eroded into an Operation Center. No Sales team. No Product launches in over 3 years. The idea of "making the number" is not back filling positions and cutting when possible.

    Advice to Management

Resign. Allow dynamic professionals to come in and pick up the pieces, grow the products and the account base. Lack of focus on clients, on service on products and growth has created a decaying environment.

I worked at Broadridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A lot of good people work there. The 401(k) is great and so are the generous benefits, including vacation time and sick time.

    Cons

My position was unique in that I had an unstable manager. He was emotionally and mentally abusive and tolerated a work envirornment that included employees who threatened the saftey and lives of co-workers. Unfortunately, this "manager" was tolerated and protected by the upper echalons of the organization.

    Advice to Management

Just because the person is your friend and you have known them for years, do not assume that they are telling you the truth. A business should be run humanely and passionately.

I have been working at Broadridge full-time

    Pros

friendly environment and employees are willing to go above and beyond to compensate for mistakes committed by Sr. management without adequately getting compensated

    Cons

No direction, no strategy, company run by a sales guy with a very short term vision

    Advice to Management

Sr. management should get out and let professionals come in to turn around the company

I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity to work hard and with a team.
Many great and super smart co-workers
    Good well-known clients
    Newer Office space
    Average salary
Updated benefits package to bring it to more industry standard
    Free parking

    Cons

Despite recent organizational changes, technology continues to lack with the Direxxis core product.
Difficult to work when employees were kept in the dark during the sale of the company
Lack of stability with the new corporate environment
Too many unknowns during the transition to new company, executive team cannot provide any answers or relief
Painfully, the hard-working employees got little to no benefit when Direxxis was sold
Other real employee reviews stated consistently that management tried to hide things
Sadly there were many “anonymous” very positive reviews, why be anonymous if you only have GREAT things to say about Direxxis?
I am nervous I will be reprimanded for adding this honest review

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with the respect they deserve and do not try to fool them (or others reading these reviews) by adding untrue anonymous reviews. Focus on the strong resources you have within the employees and use our strengths. Sincere thanks, not just pizza slices would be treasured.

    Pros

Work life balance is the best thing about Broadridge.

    Cons

    Wrong people in management roles.
Management does not treat there employees well and this is found company wide.
Greatest Places To Work does not exist within Broadridge. It's just for the public eye to make the company look good.

    Advice to Management

If you don't like your job quit! Stop treating your peers below you like garbage.

I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Steady work and tuition reimbursement.

    Cons

Dead end company with no room for growth. They won't let you jump too high of a pay grade even if you have a degree. They only allow a maximum 20% increase and that's if they even let you move up to a new position. Too much favoritism and disrespectful management. Hard working, educated and long-term employees aren't appeciated. Horrible culture, they have mastered the art of paying low wages to employees.

    Advice to Management

Promote within and stop paying higher wages to new employees for the same job that someone has been doing for years. Learn to appreciate and value good employees instead of discrediting someone working toward an education.

    Pros

At this time I can not think of any pros the company is in trouble.

    Cons

there is no growth and leadership stinks and company morale is very low due to worrying about whether you will have a job tomorrow.

    Advice to Management

Unless the company makes some smart moves to improve more work coming in and stop sending jobs to India there is no hope.
