I have been working at Broadspire full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

-My co workers are supportive -Flexibility allows for work life balance -Environment is exciting to be a part of -OneCrawford fosters interaction between departments

    Cons

Training is a challenge, but resources are available. It is incumbent upon the employee to seek out what is needed. Basic processes are explained.

    Advice to Management

Visibility of upper management is a great perk of being in Atlanta. Do other offices get the same benefit?

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Broadspire full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Company car, great benefits, training is thorough.

    Cons

Extensive travel and zero leeway for nurses traveling extensive miles a day, with late night computer data entry and starting all over the next morning at 6am.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should realize the massive amount of redundant PC work (due to poor structure of the application), which requires a CM to drive and type into PC (to be able to successfully enter all data needed). Never ending and exhausting situation.

I worked at Broadspire full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    Cons far outweigh any pros

    Cons

HR has received multiple complaints but does nothing to hold management accountable, they don't acknowledge or follow company policy/procedures. Promoted from within due to time with company, not talent, or knowledge of insurance industry. No mgmnt coaching, only micro managing. HR rep for company protects and watches out for management, not employees. Management ignores conflict of interest with favored employees,...

    Advice to Management

Favoritism over ethics, needs to end. Remember, a leader is supposed to have something to teach, guide, set an example, not put out fires everyday due to lack of knowledge, skill, talent.

    I worked at Broadspire

    Pros

Okay salary, work/ life balance, flexibility

    Cons

Little to no training. Workload is too much for the amount of employees hired. Nothing is streamlined. Managers have horrible communication skills and lack knowledge of products. Growth is only provided to those who are favored otherwise it is not an option.

    Advice to Management

Have management classes for ALL managers. Communication classes are important before becoming a manager/ director or supervisor. Have at least 6 weeks training for new employees before placing them on the floor. It can be a great company but lacks in so many areas. Needs lots of improvement. Benefits are expensive. Offer more choices other than one health insurance company.

    Pros

    simple job, calls aren't hard,

    Cons

supervisors don't know much , after initial training when learning more they don't train well, unprofessional, its about favoritism, all gossip and drama, supervisors make job stressful.. opportunities are learning how to take more calls without being paid more.. some people only do one line of business while some do all lines and will receive same pay, they don't care about employees only want calls answered

    Advice to Management

fire and replace like 70% of employees

    Cons

Discrimination and harassment by management and those favored by managers towards employees.Employees have been reporting harassment to HR for years, but HR does not investigate or take any action when employees report harassment and discrimination and the managers and supervisors just laugh about it.
