I worked at Broadway Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Absolutely LOVE the culture and family feel. You pick up the phone and almost ALWAYS know who you're talking too. Great relationships.

    Cons

You can't really move up in the company. You can work so hard, make your numbers and goals every quarter, and complete your career roadmap and then you'll be told you need another class or another training. That gets very frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Slow down on the sudden company changes. It makes things confusing to employees.

I have been working at Broadway Bank full-time

    Pros

Working here has it's pros's and it's con's. Mostly I would say it is a good experience over-all.

    Cons

Everyone has that one supervisor that plays favorites with others on their team. If you aren't the one they like, well then you are on the outs with them.

    Advice to Management

Be more available. You SAY you are, but in reality, it is just words, not actions.

I have been working at Broadway Bank full-time

    Pros

The culture, co-workers, ability to make changes for the better.

    Cons

Recently had an organizational realignment under new CEO. The CEO is great, but some of the senior leadership has lots to learn about the new lines of business they're over.

    Advice to Management

Move a little slower in making changes. Consult the experts in each line of business before making major changes and personnel decisions.

I worked at Broadway Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company . They really care about their employees , a lot of paid time off provided , no micromanaging , really chill environment . They try to make it fun.

    Cons

No room for growth . People have been there for 10+ years and you can't really move into new positions until those people retire . There are few people for the call volume that they receive . A lot of gossip from the people that have been there for a while .

    Cons

Technology needs an upgrade to enter the 21st century. Although it is getting better it is still behind the times.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to move forward. Some folks have been in the same position for a loooonnnggg time and want to do what they know.

    Pros

    Good entry into banking career

    Cons

Management needs to fire a lot of people.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of assistant managers and hire ones that know what they're doing.

I worked at Broadway Bank (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Employees are all friendly to work with . Values are awesome!

    Cons

Growth benefits encentives bonuses pay. Health is super expensive not reasinable price at alll!!! Dental and vision are ok. Hardly any bonuses for hard work only around holiday time which are so small no bonuses ever for hard work. No room for growth because everyone stays in their position for years.

    Advice to Management

I would say that there needs to be more of incentive for employee's taking loan applications or other projects helping the bank profit employees get small raffles but no type of incentives for hard work just a good job. Its not really motivating theres not really any bonuses for employees like other companys (USAA) or other small banks
