I have been working at Brook Street full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Culture, flexibility, honesty. Those are just a few things that come to mind. It's fun to be apart of a growing company with the resources of a huge organization.

    Cons

We work hard. If that is a con to you, it probably isn't a good fit! There is a wide variety of customers with a wide variety of demands. It can be a challenge to keep up.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your employees and providing opportunity for advancement. Thank you!

I worked at Brook Street full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have a fantastic training program. Unfortunately, they did not use this training for their managers.

    Cons

They essentially started in NYC as a start-up, backed by Manpower. They hired way too many employees and had too much overhead to start. Also, they hired three branch managers, and brought one over from the UK. The manager from the UK knew what she was doing, two of the managers they hired were good, but the ONLY ONE they kept was HORRIBLE. She treated the employees horribly, was lazy (always texting and taking personal calls) and she knows nothing about the staffing industry.

    Advice to Management

Treat the employees fairly and like humans! No wonder you failed in NYC and Boston.

I worked at Brook Street full-time

    Pros

Great pay, excellent benefits, great team atmosphere, lots of valuable training

    Cons

No established book of business in the US

    Advice to Management

Thoroughly vet your candidates, hire recruiters with experience and at least a college degree

    Pros

Great leadership, opportunity to advance, excellent training program, unlimited potential for career advancement and earnings! This is an outstanding company. The UK leadership is very open to suggestions/concerns and quickly act to ensure the company and employees are both happy and successful. If you work hard, this company will take excellent care of you. The USA management team is one of the hardest working and motivating work groups I have come across. I see great things coming from Brook Street in the future.

    Cons

Although well established in the UK, the company is very unique and new to the USA market, so it is difficult to find employees with the adaptability, culture, and work ethic needed to move the company forward.

I have been working at Brook Street (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive base pay with opportunity to earn commission and move up. Casual Fridays.

    Cons

Too much emphasis on driving sales and not enough on building relationships with customers which will naturally lead to sales.

    Advice to Management

Be more realistic in sales goal and focus more on the customer experience not just making profit.

I have been working at Brook Street full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

will give you time to look for what you want to do.
    sometimes alcohol on Fridays.
you get to look at available jobs while they think youre

    Cons

The rom is a joke. They constantly lie and put blame on the recruiters. It's a waste of time unless you're looking for the bare minimum recruitment experience. The sales director of the U.S. Simply should not be in charge either. If I had the option it would be at zero stars.

    Advice to Management

How about you start all over and hire new management of bring legit people from the UK. Listen to your current consultants about what is not working. Be honest and stop with all of your lying.

They have a good promotion, and commission structure, if you are a top seller

    Cons

You have to make to many cold calls, expected to call 50 potential clients. You can't canvas sales in the field.

    Advice to Management

Work better with new sales associates. Provide feedback to associates, and encourage them.
