Great benefits but culture and growth potential could improve

    Pros

Pto is great - 4 weeks start, 5 weeks after 5 years

    Cons

Not much opportunity for growth, often external candidates get hired over internal despite the qualifications - they don’t promote within as a routine practice. Never enough budget given, short on resources and funds to upkeep the community and then it negatively impacts team bonuses when targets can’t be met - request for appropriate budget is always ignored by uppers

    Pros

Average pay, benefits, great name in the CRE industry.

    Cons

Been going downhill since new buildings we’re acquired. Increasingly more work without proper staffing or pay increases. Leadership is changing and employees are overworked to keep up. Retention is beginning to dwindle.

    Pros

I have nothing positive to say about this company.

    Cons

After 4 years of hard work and dedication the company wanted to cut commissions so sadly I had to leave. Instead of compensating workers they wanted demote them after years of hard work. Upon leaving the company they refused to pay out myself and my other colleagues of their rightful pay for the work that was provided to them. All in retaliation for not accepting the cuts and staying to work for bogus pay. I am still owed 3 months of commission and it is nerve wrecking to see of they even pay that out. This company does not treat their employees well at all. As big as the name is they really don't care about the people on the bottom who make it possible for this machine to run. If you are considering to work there think again as you'll soon find out they sell a dream that is so fabricated that you might as well work somewhere else for free. Not only there is no morale there they also use you for cheap labor and sell you out to work for other buildings since they are too cheap to hire extra labor when a building needs extra help. I have nothing good to say about this company and would not recommend it to my enemy and would never work there again. They may be nice on paper but in reality the work place and morale was like hell!!!

Brookfield builds a strong sense of culture - You get to know and meet a lot of bright people within the company They work on some of the coolest projects in the world so the work feels meaningful

    Cons

Typically you'll have some pretty long hours but that's anywhere these days in this position The company is big and most times you'll just be a name on a piece of paper to MDs
