I have been working at Brooklyn College part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Health benefits, even if only part-time.

    Cons

The bureaucracy for administrators and everyone else alike at Brooklyn College is insane. What should be a simple task becomes a sprawling series of endless tasks - multiplied by however many tasks one receives, this becomes overwhelming. Even as a part-time, low-level administrator, your job is not limited to your own but rather expands to encompass the job duties of whomever around you is salaried (depending on their individual willingness to do their own jobs).
