    Pros

Relationships are amazing. The brand heritage is so cool to be a part of. Everyone should try to be a part of this iconic organization.

    Cons

None loved it. The company was amazing to work with and be a part of. I would of never left the company but understand you have to downsize to preserve the future of an amazing brand.

I worked at Brooks Brothers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits were good but expensive, 2x more expensive compared to other retail benefits
Associates were great to work with
    No other pros

    Cons

Pay is TERRIBLE, worst I've ever seen in retail.

They tell you PTO isn't paid out of you're there less than 6 months, which is a lie. They just don't want to pay you what they owe you.

Management is awful. They only promote favorites; promotion isn't based on performance or experience.

They say they will schedule you full time but you end up only working 30 hours a week.

The discount is not great, the quality of clothing is terrible in the factory stores compared to retail stores. Clothing I recently purchased already have holes in them.

Upper management claims to care about employees but they do not, if you have problems they ignore you.

There is no formal training when you begin your job, but everyone expects you to know everything.

    Advice to Management

Train your employees!!! Pay more money, care about your team! Come to your stores more often and talk with the store team.

    Pros

Top notch stores, easy floor resets, excellent clientele, excellent employee discount

    Cons

On par with retail compensation which is to say low. But these jobs do not command a high rate typically.

I worked at Brooks Brothers full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They had good benefits, were flexible with scheduling, hourly pay with no commission and the pay was satisfactory. Most co-workers and managers treated each other pretty well. Building relationships with the customers was the most exciting part of the job.

    Cons

Poor management, some co-workers liked to take all the credit for your work and back-stab you, there is no opportunity for growth, and hardly any raises. When we got visits from corporate, management would tell you to push sales down customers throats, which resulted many customers fleeing for their lives or yelling at you to leave them alone.

    Advice to Management

Hire good managers that guide, train, and give the example to employees and keep them in line; not managers that like to talk and laze around. Also offer opportunities for those that want and deserve to move up.
