    Pros

Great co-workers, fantastic learning department, wonderful business lines, superb support throughout the divisions

    Cons

limited pay for years of experience, seem to have mostly new graduates or new graduates who have completed residency programs within Brooks. Not much diversity in therapy staff, mostly young, white males or females.

    Advice to Management

    Improve diversity efforts

    Cons

Managers not provided training, "learn as you go"

    Advice to Management

Please develop a "New Manager Training Program", for all managers whether hired in or promoted to manager. All should attend.

I worked at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital (Less than a year)

    Pros

Schedule was somewhat flexible long as I put In my time and did my work

    Cons

pay was low. Overtime was frowned upon by HR. Fired for a lie instead of the truth, instead could have moved to another department that needed help now can't get another job at all with the company if I wanted.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better . Don't be schemy when firing employees for no good reason and beat around the bush and not allow them to get their own possessions from their desk before telling them to leave. It does not look good.

I worked at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Autonomy, excellence in management ended with Brooks Merger. Great training, continuing education, excellent retirement, good health insurance. All good except poor choice for managers as of late.

    Cons

Micromanagement, poor management, poor work environment. Poor planning ahead, never choosing to say positives as in employee recognition, no concern with quality only bare minimum standard, quantity trumps quality for this company.

    Advice to Management

Treat workers with respect, not like a widget.
