    Pros

Great benefits and you do not have to have a state license (4-40 or 2-20) to get promoted from a Commercial Lines Assistant to an Account Manager.

    Cons

Very high turnover rate, most employees leave within 2 yrs of employment. Management and Executives don’t care or listen to employees ideas or suggestions to help streamline the outdated policies and procedures, they rather stick with an old school mentality and make you work harder instead of smarter. Over worked and very unappreciated. Also, management doesn’t always inform the staff on critical changes that effects their team and they make exceptions for some employees but not for others. Lack of formal training although they say they will train, they really don’t.

Politics is king, knowledge & skills don't matter.

    Pros

    Great benefits and 401k plan.

    Cons

The "Star" treatment is embraced to the point where the "Stars" are untouchable and not held accountable. "Underlings" have to take the heat and drink the "Kool-Aid" or you'll be an outcast.

    Account Manager

    Pros

Great Benefits, Vacation Plan and co-workers.

    Cons

Salary too low. Also the fact that each office is run as an independent profit center means some are operated very cheaply to the point that you have to provide your own office supplies.

    Pros

Great values and Good benefits. Senior Management cares about work/life balance of employees and overall is a healthy company to work for.

    Cons

Middle Management needs to be more aware of the problems that employees are facing. Even if they are aware of their problems, some just don't seem to care. It almost seems as though there are too many unnecessary Middle Management positions.

    Pros

It's a sales organization ... Aka they could care a less about employees or existing customers or retention. Not many pros with this company.

    Cons

Management is terrible. They care far more about sales than taking care of existing clients, much less employees. Not that great of benefits or 401k or PTO or anything that enhances company culture...forget about it. I made 2x as much $$ by moving firms.
