    I worked at Bruce Power

    Pros

Pay was above average Culture at work was above average Safety oriented Laid back work environment Lots of opportunity to learn things Very interesting place to work for

    Cons

The location of the plant is really far and can be difficult to drive when it is during the winter time since you need to deal with not only lots of plowed roads but also the roads get very misty. Fortunately the company offers bus services though when going in and out of town to see relatives it can be dangerous.

    Advice to Management

Please hire more young professionals and give students with co-op experience a chance to work for the company after graduation. Looking at the job postings it appears you need at least five years of NUCLEAR experience which is very difficult to obtain because there are only three CANDU reactors in all of Ontario. Two with OPG and one with Bruce basically you either have to be very lucky and get hired when they do mass hiring of fresh graduates or you are screwed. Please provide other opprotunities to work for your company.
