    Pros

Customer interactions was almost the highlight of this job. I got to meet so many different people on a personal level
    Hours were very reasonable

    Cons

No sense of promotion or ladder to move upward
The company didn't really listen to employee opinions about how to improve certain aspects of the business
More of an in-between jobs rather than a career job

    Advice to Management

Listen to the little guys every once in a while

I have been working at Brunswick Zone (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Its a very fun atmosphere.

    Cons

Higher management does not care about the lower end. All they care about is how much money you are making them. They make you do things at work that aren't apart of your job description. You only get paid the minimum for maximum work

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your employees more. Do not force them to do work they aren't paid to do.

I worked at Brunswick Zone full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Worked here for a total of 7 years and learned a ton in various departments. In regards to this position, this was a great entry level sales position because it showed you a wide variety of sales tactics.

    Cons

The company that acquired this company didn't really have the same culture or values that Brunswick used to have. Too many leadership changes caused the culture and employee morale to subside.

    Advice to Management

Try and be more consistent in leadership to create a standard in the company's culture and core values.

I worked at Brunswick Zone full-time

    Pros

    Bowling discounts
    Meeting new people
    Busy most of the time

    Cons

    Raises sucks
    No bonus
    Dont hire enough help
    Too expensive

    Advice to Management

Keep your leagues in your smaller alleys. You are losing people left and right because you wont help the leagues. Focus on them!

I worked at Brunswick Zone part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

One of the top Pros within the company is the ability to hire great workers. I loved being a part of aa great team that work together to get the job done.

    Cons

The management changed in my last few months working there where the company kind of changed as a whole. If there was better management then i dont think the homewood location would have shut down.

    Advice to Management

    None

I worked at Brunswick Zone (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Brunswick is a great job to start off at and gain experience for customer service. Working as a host, your with the kids most of the time. But any of the positions are just as easy; working in the kitchen, working at the front counter, as a CSR (customer service representative). If you work at the front counter you may have a chance to move up to a manager at the counter. In the kitchen, there is the position for the food and beverage manager. So there are some opportunities to move up in the company. Also it's always a possibility to be cross trained for different positions.

    Cons

It's really hard to pick up hours in the summer because there is not as much business so a lot of hours get

Working only as a party host you mostly will only have hours on the weekend. But for some that's what they want.

    Dealing with rude league bowlers
