    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Buddy's Home Furnishings full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great franchisee to work for, can be laid back, great benefits, love the customers

    Cons

If the GM get's reprimanded, it rolls down hill to other employees which can make the work day pretty stressful. Can be a long day if credit isn't in line.

I worked at Buddy's Home Furnishings full-time for less than a year

    Pros

lots of overtime!!! sometimes 65hr weeks. If you have no life or definitely don't want one this is the job for you....Closed on Sundays

    Cons

management is so unprofessional , can't ask for a day off sick because you are 25 percent of workforce, they don't care if your house is on fire they will ask you to come in if you want to keep your job. everyone has to go out in the field to collect money from customers who refuse to go in store and pay on time which is dangerous. I had my life threatened many times a week. they will send you alone until 9pm to knock...

    Advice to Management

You need to trust your employees more and not micromanage nearly as much. Send out 2 people at night especially at neighborhoods known to be bad or known for shootings...don't treat your employees like garbage
