I have been working at Buffalo Rock full-time

    Pros

Friendly and safe environment with fantastic employees that are willing to work hard. Great benefits, compensation, and support. They are determined to grow their employees and move them up the ladder. The Lee family truly have a heart in this company and I will be planning to retire from here.

    Cons

Nothing that I can think of, other than morning traffic getting here.

    Advice to Management

Continue to support great leaders that will benefit the company for the long term, as well as short.

I worked at Buffalo Rock full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good benefits...health, vision, dental, 401k. That's about it unless you work on tthe retail side.

    Cons

The pay sucks! They care more about their sales numbers being up than they care about your back. I literally heard the words "Load the wagon, we'll worry about the mule later" on a regular basis.
If you work in Admin you get NOTHING...there are no perks, and you can bust your butt to try and make everyone happy, but there will be no reward. They have a HUGE tendancy to change the rules in the middle of the game...MANY of their management team (not all) are extremely unorganized and very unprofessional...SHOULD NOT have been given the responsibilities they hold, but I'm sure they knew someone higher up who decided to do a friend a favor by getting them a gravy job with more money. If Pepsi wasn't such an American staple that pretty much sells itself, I believe BRC would go under, because if nothing else, I feel like management would run the business into the ground. Mr. Lee would probably turn over in his grave if he knew his family business being run this way.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to remember that the culture of the company STARTS with you. Be the type of person you want working for you. Also, pay your people better!! They bust their butts for your paychecks...it would benefit YOU to make them feel appreciated and by THEM I mean ADMIN TOO!

I worked at Buffalo Rock full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Retail Sales side has a Awesome President. Mr Carly and a supervisor Mr j Scott, are great role models and leaders. Great people to work around. Always work to be done with a little to no supervision. Benefits are ok

    Cons

    NO COMMUNICATION
FAVORTISM IS PREVAILENT ITS SICKING- IM TALKING TO YOU FOSTER!!!!!!f=
little to no training/ good ole boy system. So if you don't bow hunt or deer hunt cant be favored. Plus some are allowed to this and that but you aren't favored.
Constantly feeling as though you get jerked around. Go to a store and find 6 supervisors in my store in a reset and they just talked to each other.

    Advice to Management

You should work on COMMUNICATION!!!!!!!!!!!! IM TELLING NOT SUGGESTING. FOSTER IS CORRUPT AND HR NIGHTMARE
    INVESTIGATE MORE AND STOP ASSUMING

    Pros

Great starter job for someone fresh out of high school or college.

    Cons

Pay not great, no great long term advancement unless you really know someone that knows someone. It’s tough to raise a family based on compensation

    Advice to Management

    Better treatment of employees

I have been working at Buffalo Rock full-time

    Pros

It's a free environment, if you work hard and learn quick you can easily move up the ladder, pay is enough to pay the bills and not a bad gig for the pay overall you can make a career for yourself here

    Cons

Down side is management at particular branches, they pick very lazy people to be ASM or managers and half of them are under qualified (besides my manager) been at 2 branches and I can say that about the first branch I was at, turn over rate is extreme so it is a lot of hard and extra work at times

    Advice to Management

Management is fair at times my current manager is great but my old one at the last branch could work on people skills and keeping in mind we are all only human not robots that are programmed to work 24/7 and fill in constantly only to get no thanks or recognition in return
