    No one bothers you.
Get one heck of a workout
Like going to the gym for 8hrs a day but it pays you.

    Cons

Little to no training it's all OJT training.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Buffalo Rock full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Plenty of hours, and know when you will work most days

    Cons

no team concept, pay sucks for the type of work that needs to be done, management is only after things for themselves and not to help the rest of the employees

    Advice to Management

get the moral up for your employees and maybe they will not leave to find something else

I have been working at Buffalo Rock (Less than a year)

    Pros

    None at all it sucks

    Cons

Work at 4pm dont get home until atleast 3am everyday ONLY MAKING 10.10 an hour seeing that its a warehouse and the work you do doesn't equal up to pay ..during interview was told i would be a warehouse picker which picked the orders but upon starting in warehouse i have been outside everyday from the time i clock in untill i clock out stacking trays! WHICH THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING BC PEOPLE QUIT BC OF THE TASK..so thats their first trick..

    Advice to Management

Orientation should be only on what you were hired for not different jobs everyday then only do your job one day out of that week it makes no sense..RAISE PAY TO ATLEAST 11.00 its kinda embarrassing when you dont want to refer hard workers to a job to maybe get them employed and you tell them that (Pepsi)/ buffalo rock is only paying you 10.00 to work in warehouse when surrounding warehouses are paying 11 12 13 dollars an hour doing way more vigorous heavy lifting work and 8 hour days ..Sucks to work 5 days out of the week 12 hrs a day at the most and get paid barely scratching at 400 dollars

I have been working at Buffalo Rock full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Off weekends, paid birthday off

    Cons

Long hours, the more you work the less you make with this pay system they have set up

    Advice to Management

Pay people for the work they are doing. The big routes make the same as the little ones so it's fair to the people with smaller routes. If the smaller routes want more money then work your way up to it. Not everyone gets a trophy.(except at this company) Can't keep people around with this and it's very apparent with the turn around rate here.. became senior driver within 1 year...that's bad.

I have been working at Buffalo Rock full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    A lot of overtime.
    Days go by fast.

    Cons

The pay is minuscule considering the amount of work you do.
    Management needs improvement.
They pretty much throw you out there.
Training is not thorough, you will learn a lot of things on your own.
    High turnover

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees more. Its pretty discouraging knowing you are working for pennies especially when you work with other vendors throughout the day and find out how much they make.

I have been working at Buffalo Rock full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

It's a tuff job (retail sales)that not everyone can do. But if you are willing to show up every day and do a good job you can go a long way in this company. The management team and everyone here are great to work with. And the pay is better than these reviews say. The average route is over 40k and the drivers are closer to 50k

    Cons

Hard work and 10 to 14 hours a day. Depending on what you do. I'm referring to retail sales.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

  9. "All"

    Pros

Steady work, good pay and benefits, family atmosphere, company owner cares about his employees. Good equipment, management has been promoted from within.

    Cons

Work is hard, hours can be long, seasonal business, work harder around holidays and in the summer time. Customers can be demanding.

    Advice to Management

    Do not forget mission statement.

I have been working at Buffalo Rock full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Buffalo Rock is a great family owned company to work for. No micro management, they let you just get the job done.

    Cons

While long hours to equal larger paychecks, it can become tiresome at times. Family time is important.

    Advice to Management

Plan well and don't leave things out there for just assumptions. Have a goal and plan to get there.
