    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Buffalo Sabres part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are great. Management is encouraging and pays attention to even the little people.

    Cons

It can be a bit hectic and seems disorganized at times, which is surprising because they know what to expect, for the most part. Pay is on the lower end.

    Advice to Management

Find a better organization system or hire people specifically for assistant roles; Get part-time employees more involved and offer more learning opportunity to move up.

I have been working at Buffalo Sabres as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is great working for a company where people enjoy going to work and don't compete for resources. It is a great place to work with people who are willing to help when asked for help.

    Cons

Haven't found a downside of this job yet.

    Pros

The internship was easy, very basic, my supervisors were nice and flexible. There was dinner.

    Cons

They don't use their interns to their full potential. The majority of the internship was sitting around, or passing out packets. There's a lot of wasted potential there. I had nothing to add to my portfolio after interning there for 8 months.

    Advice to Management

Interns can contribute in a meaningful way. Use them!

    Pros

A great resume builder, get to know many people in the organization, high network abilities. dinner was available.

    Cons

High executives took advantage of female interns, other interns not pulling their weight

    Advice to Management

Stay involved in the intern activities and challenge the interns so they can show you how talented they actually are.
