I worked at Buffalo Wild Wings part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They have flexible hours and it is a quick learned job. Very easy.

    Cons

They have bad Management and even employees. You, as well, are asked to do things that are not part of your job

    Advice to Management

Make the environment better and safer. (Cameras do not work)

I worked at Buffalo Wild Wings part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company had a great atmosphere to work for. The managers were chill and laid back for the most part.

    Cons

You have to work a lot of the good shifts to make good money. Working any day shifts or weeknights when there are no major games on does not offer much in terms of tips.

    Advice to Management

Be more positive and uplifting with your employees. The managers who actually cared to get to know us on a personal level were always much more receptive to work with.

I have been working at Buffalo Wild Wings (More than a year)

    Pros

I like working here because even though I am not always guaranteed money if its slow, I still have regulars that still will come see me. Also my managers work very well with my schedule and are really flexible with school and vacations. I make more money than most of the people I know and who have jobs due to walking out with cash every night.

    Cons

Not always guaranteed good money but other nights will make up for it.

    Pros

Lots of hours. Kinda fun. About 10-11 dollars an hour in tips

    Cons

Rude management. Management kicking stuff. Management cussing. Management always stressed. Cooks get very low paid. So they are not kind. They have told me that they don't get tipped so they don't care about the food

    Advice to Management

    Calm down

    Advice to Management

When you hire managers please do your homework and research about the person. You have stores with managers who lied on their resumes and had no management experience but you hired them anyway with no reference checks. It's kind of a running joke with some of them how they got away with it so easy. LISTEN when your GMs tell you that their assistant managers are lazy, under qualified, and not pulling their weight. I literally had a high volume store and the managers that I kept being sent, (I had no say whatsoever in management choices) were ex bartenders, or ex cooks, or managers that were recently fired from other restaurants due to lack of performance that hadn't a clue about running a restaurant. Granted that some people do well after promotion but these were literally the bottom of the barrel people. Then to top it all off, MY EVALUATIONS WERE BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THEM! Since I had no choice in the selection process of this person how could you ever rate my performance off of them? You can only lead a horse to water, its up to them to drink. Its my responsibility to run a successful store with top quality managers, not to babysit and plead with "managers" to do their jobs. Also, St. Louis Market, if the managers are not doing well, let the GM terminate them. Stop being so afraid to term someone for fear of paying unemployment. Your stores are suffering because you keep so many horrible managers around. All you guys ever do is just transfer bad managers to other stores when the GM has had absolutely enough of them...speaking from personal experience. I am not the only GM who feels this way but I'm sure I'm the only one who will say anything. Too bad I let it get the better of me and moved on...but only after pleading with my regional manager to help solve these issues with no support.
