    Pros

During my tenure at this organization, most of management had been replaced and the company was sold. The newer members of management embraced and drove some changes that ultimately were for the benefit of the business long term. They finally began to listen more to their employees, resulting in a more flexible work environment and higher employee satisfaction.

    Cons

Some members of management became more of a bottleneck, instead of being helpful to overall success of the company.

    Advice to Management

Continue on course and communicate your plan well to your employees. You are on the right track!

I have been working at Building Systems Design full-time

    Pros

Full-paid benefits (insurance, 401K, gym membership)
    Friendly, family-feel among staff
Flexible, they work with your life when stuff happens

    Cons

The small office can cause staff to get annoyed with one another. The opportunity to move-up in rank is low. That is about it though.

    Advice to Management

Keep treating the employees well, providing great benefits, and caring about the lives of your employees. You all do a great job!

I worked at Building Systems Design (More than a year)

    Pros

Small office environment. Used to have paid lunches. Nice office location. Free parking.

    Cons

The salary is just horrible. The research assistants who write the specs on which the product they sell is based on are the lowest paid employees in the whole company. Was managed by Microsoft outlook. Horrible management. Unfair compensation. Lack of respect for spec writers. No career advancement. Come here if you need money and don't care about moving up and advancing. Don't get sick or pregnant, cause you'll lose your job. Purposely keep less than 50 employees to not have to give FMLA.

    Advice to Management

Actually care about the employees. Pay your employees what they deserve.
