Pros
Installations and service calls are simple.
Cons
No vacay, no Paid time off, no paid sick days, work 6 days a week with intermittent work loads, micro managed, sales is 80% of the work, good jobs go to techs with good numbers, hazed and written off if sales average are low then you’ll get loaded jobs with probability of making no sale... if you’re fortunate to get a job. If you are loaded a job, it’s one that a more experienced tech does not desire. Sometimes jobs will be loaded after 5pm and you’ll get notified about it at 5:30pm and the install only take 1 hr tops for basic install, however after install you’ll have to upsale (which takes 2 more hours) and if you don’t sell, you will get lectured on how it’s because you didn’t build value, then you have to complete the rest of the install (while customer is pissed because they didn’t expect for you to sell more items) and you’ll have to explain why you didn’t sell to a classroom filled with other techs the next meeting (in which you attend 2 virtual meetings and 1 on site meeting, unpaid). This is the first time I’ve made such a horrible review, but this Is what I’ve experienced working for Bulldog Security Services (San Antonio, TX)
