Initiative, hard work and creative thinking is encouraged. Internal systems and employee cohesion needs improvement

      Pros

Employees are loyal to promoting and developing the brand image. Management is friendly and promotes innovation, creative thinking and cohesiveness. Company tries to remain technologically advanced externally. Majority of employees are friendly and cooperative. Company provides employee perks – free lunch, clothing allowance and is deeply involved in charitable events.

      Cons

Due to open work environment – at times leads to lack of privacy. Internal systems are slow, creates additional errors and technologically overburdened. Due to competitive environment, need for further respect of coworkers differences, abilities and need for further constructive communication. Some employees adhered to bullying (ie: screaming negative personal comments/ opinions across the room). This behavior should not be tolerated and undermines the forward thinking, innovative environment which management tries to promote.

Brand Matches How They Treat Employees

      Pros

Company name/brand brings in talent. Many of the Burberry employees are smart, top of their class and respectful. Other benefits include fruit bowls, free lunch, half day fridays, good vacation, overall good work/life balance.

      Cons

High end fashion can drawl a snobish crowd--lots of pressure to buy and wear Burberry clothes. If you like an easy job and are good at creating work where there is none, this is the company for you. They have too many people, so there is not enough to do.

      Pros

Aspirational company, great office, employee discount, free lunch once in a week

      Cons

Even though they say otherwise, you probably won't get a job at burberry afterwards. London is very influential so very slow decision making process and very rigid rules. People are somewhat uptight and stressed.
