I have been working at Burger King (More than a year)

    Pros

Work isn't bad if you like the people you work with

    Cons

Management was dating, constant fights in the office.

Overworked and underpaid, I often had to work front counter and both drive thru lanes, while bagging food for the customers.

Always understaffed, leads to slower times, unhappy coworkers and customers.

Pay - Was barely paid above minimum wage ($.25 over) and had to work a 60 hour week before I left. Often worked 45 hour weeks and the managers would adjust my hours when I was a minor after I worked them to fulfill Michigan regulations (They would work me over 5 hours without giving me a break when I was a minor and change it later).

    Advice to Management

Have more people scheduled and follow the rules.

I worked at Burger King full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There a lot of work to get done. Some customers can be friendly. Great if you prefer a fast paced atmosphere.

    Cons

Very immature atmostphere. Almost as if you were back in high school or middle school. There is little to no room for advancement or raises. I worked there for almost 2 years and still received the state's minimum wage.

    Advice to Management

If you are going to follow rules, do them all the time; not just when someone with more authority than you is present.

I worked at Burger King full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only pro is the employee discount you get on your break.

    Cons

Get paid every two weeks. Work your butt off, deal with so many rude customers. In return don't even get a fair amount, both part and full time.
There's barely teamwork when it comes to the staff.

    Advice to Management

Please properly train employees and managers. Some locations have employees and managers that have been working there for years and don't fully know what they're doing.
They'll throw a new employee out on the floor before putting them on guru.

I worked at Burger King full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best reason was because I needed steady income.

    Cons

My GM wanted your life to revolve around Burger King the way hers did but I refuse not for $8.10 an hour!

    Advice to Management

Find a GM that doesn't leave a mast impression on guest or employees! Customer's should not be able to come in and ask "Is your nasty so and so manager in today? With her evil behind"
