I have been working at Burlington full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Provides benefits, medical, dental, vision all the good stuff, competitive wages with opportunity to earn more with there pace program, as long as you get your percentage, they have give always televisions, iPads, etc, they give lunch once in a while, snacks at break every so often, as long as you work and are not lazy you should be ok, because it's fast pace.

    Cons

Mandatory overtime , working weekend mandatory during what they call peak season, oct thru nov, but a great place to work as long as you work,

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I have been working at Burlington full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with. Good benefits if you get the average hours to get them. They do support causes such as, Warm Coats and Women’s Heart Disease.

    Cons

Regional managers called on the daily to cut hours and push for more work done. Ridiculous expectations for a skeleton crew. If you fall below 37.5 work hours your full-time benefits went out the door. Not a good place to work for as a parent.

    Advice to Management

Corporate management needs to get a grip on reality. 35 hours a week is full-time and you guys cut benefits after 37.5 average hours aren’t achieved yet you tout yourselves as being “family oriented”. Scheduling folks at the average hour isn’t what you promise when we have to leave ASAP. Despicable!

    I worked at Burlington part-time

    Pros

There is a 15% discount for employees

    Cons

Low pay and no full time hours

    Advice to Management

It's a good part time, seasonal job but you won't making a living off of it. You always work weekends and it sometimes becomes difficult to request time off (at least at my location). Full time is never offered unless you're a manager

    Pros

Good pay, discounts are awesome, good hours.

    Cons

Managers, sometimes no breaks , customers, and over 5 different tasks in a 6 hour day

    Advice to Management

Stop putting a lot of pressure on supervisors. Make sure they at least get a 15 min break at 4 hours of work. Recognition

    I worked at Burlington part-time

    Pros

The best thing was that I was able to shop and also get a discount.
    The other employees were great.

    Cons

As a Part-Time employee, they would not allow me to work more than 32 or so hours a week.
The schedule was always different, and it seems as though they would cut days and hours which you cannot live off of their hours.
If you were working until the store closed, (scheduled until 10:30pm) you were not allowed to leave at the time you were scheduled to, because the closing supervisors wouldn't allow it. You would have to stay and clean & tidy up the store. Then usually at 11:00 pm (a half hour not paid for my work) was rediculous
